Acharya Kainkaryam – UNNUM SORRU

Project “Unnum Soru” is an initiative to offer Organic Rice to Acharyan Thirumaligais and Matams during this auspicious Dhanur Maasam. We have already received tremendous interest from Sishyas of various Thirumaligais in sponsoring this initiative. We now URGENTLY need some dedicated BhAgavatAs to help deliver and offer these Rice bags to the Acharya purushas in person with the right discipline (i.e., in Swarupam with Danda samarpanam etc.). This is an amazing opportunity to do Vaishnava Kainkaryam during this holy month. 

Our PoorvAchAryAs have prescribed and demonstrated through example that the ultimate goal of a SriVaishnava is to do unhindered, eternal, loving Kainkaryam to EmperumAn. In addition, stalwarts such as Madhurakavi Azhwar and KoorathAzhwan have further shown that service to Acharyas is even better, as EmperumAn becomes more happy when an adiyAr serves an Acharyan. In the current day, doing this Kainkaryam is also the most practical and within our capacity.

As true BhAgavatAs, we must always be ready to jump at opportunities for doing Kainkaryam. Not just doing it casually, but doing it well by understanding how a task needs to be done with the right Murai (i.e, discipline). Further, once the Kainkaryam is started, it should be completed in a timely and efficient manner. 

Process for Anna Samarpanam:

1. Receive organic rice bags (will be delivered to address you provide)

2. Confirm availability of Acharya purusha (s) at the Thirumaligai (s) or Matam (s) in their town / city

3. Take rice bags to Acharya Thirumaligai – dressed in Swarupam

4. Perform Danda Samarpanam (bow down) to Acharyan and offer the Rice Bags

5. Send confirmation to   along with photos or videos taken , if any only , with the permission of Acharyah Purusakal .
